VGroups that send in photos and stories about the local initiative they run to get young people involved in Youth Decide could be selected to be filmed as the showcase for a promotional piece for VGenners post-Youth Decide to encourage continued local community action towards Copenhagen AND to demonstrate the links between global poverty and climate change. They will also get a teleconference with cool VGen peeps like Alana, Brett, their State Director, and a WV media liaison to help them develop plans for local community action towards Copenhagen.
So tell us, how are you championing Youth Decide?

A united youth voice will help compel the Australian government to lead the way in securing a strong global agreement in Copenhagen this December.
Vision Generation and the Environmental collective will be holding events next week and we will have voting booths set up for you to have your say!
During 14-21 September (Week 8), USyd’s Vision Generation will be presenting Australia's first ever youth climate vote, Youth Decide, at the University of Sydney.
It’s about fighting for our future, as well as the future of those people in poor countries and communities that will be most affected by climate change, and don’t have the resources to deal with it.
Be a part of this historic moment at Sydney Uni. No-one else will solve climate change for us. We need you. Join the movement.

hi VGEN NSW!!!
our Sydney high school group (Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design) is holding a stall as part of the multicultural day fair to provide information on the science and solutions of climate change as well as an opportunity to vote in Youth Decide. We are going to have a massive chalk mural and do an awesome flash mob dance on Thursday the 17th-as well as promotional stuff going on all week. After going 2 the power-shift conference in July myself and one other Dulwich High student set up an an unofficial climate action group(Well, actually we set it up two weeks ago, starting by giving a recess lesson on climate change basics, which led on into a series of lunchtime workshops ). We then wrote a proposal to our principal on green pollution saving measures we can implement in our school. hopefully he will approve it and then we can tackle the SRC and get it implemented in our school! we are also going to sell eco, handmade, recycled products at our information stall, the profits of which will go to World Vision AUS and the AYCC. I'll be sure to attach photos of our event!
WE CAN CHANGE CLIMATE CHANGE!
